It all started when Catheljine learned from her mother that people in Nepal who worked in the silver industry had lost their jobs. Catheljine didn’t want to let that happen and decided to make a career change and start a jewelry business, with no experience at all.

But she has this experience by now, because the company has been around since 2005. For all their products “A beautiful story” works with semi-precious stones and sterling silver. In particular, “A beautiful story” emphasizes fair-trade conditions in manufacturing with their producers in Nepal, who treat them like family.

This love for their products and for their producers can be seen in the products, loving details characterize the jewelry. Each gemstone has a symbolic meaning and symbols such as lotus flowers, Buddha or small dragonflies give each bracelet a very specific meaning.
